By bus from the ferry: Head for the bus stance by the pier and catch a number 323 bus for the 10-minute journey to Lamlash. There your bus will pass the putting green and tennis courts on the left. Get off at the Police station opposite the High School and follow the instructions, below, as for cars.
By car from the ferry:When leaving the ferry in Brodick, turn left and head south for three miles. At Lamlash (see map, above) drive to the far end of the village. Having passed the Police Station on your left and Arran High School on your right, continue on the main road across a small bridge. Straight after, look for a sign pointing to Cordon and turn left just before the fire station with the metal tower. Drive a quarter of a mile into the village (along the road marked in yellow on the map). Kennedy Cottage is on your right, between houses named "Burnside" and "Evanton".
